YOUR PROFILE
How you present yourself and your profile on our website may be the single most important aspect of using the agency. Similar to the biggest social networks the agency gives you a personal profile complete with your own images, wall, bio, contact information, etc. allowing you to network and showcase yourself. However, as an online talent source, the agency’s goal is also to help find you work and expand your career, and all the information in your profile will help achieve that.

 PICTURES
To make sure that your profile is as good as it can be. Use pictures that make you look your best while staying true to how you really are. Upload as many good images as you have, but don’t bother with the ones that aren’t so good. Try to show a few different looks. Pride in your profile reflects on you as talent. Please do your best to upload true-to-life, recent pictures that show you as you are; we encourage you to use professional pictures rather than personal snapshots.  We do not allow any revealing nude, tasteless or offensive images anywhere on The Agency; we may remove your account if you upload them. 

 YOUR DETAILS 
* It's REALLY important to fill out all personal information, age, measurements, skills, union status, etc in your profile! *

If you don’t know your dress or suit size, now is the time to go get measured and find out! If you don’t put it on the site, you will NOT be searchable to clients looking for a specific size, or a specific skill, age, union status, etc. Do not underestimate what is useful as a skill. Bicycling, playing the banjo, hand-puppets, ballet, literally anything could be useful to a client at one point or another. DO NOT be tempted to lie! It will only end in disaster! For example, saying that you’re a good swimmer when in fact you’re terrible, then getting booked for a job that involves swimming would be a nightmare for everyone involved!

 YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION
Only members on the site can contact you (using the information you supply).
Being talent on the agency means being easily reachable by those clients interested in booking you. Not responding to people who reach to you or giving indirect/the wrong contact information will not do you any good at all, and chances are that clients who have tried to get hold of you and been unable to because your e-mail; address is wrong or because you've left the number of you sister's boyfriend's auntie at work (but only tuesday through friday) will probably never try again. If clients can’t contact you, then you have no chance of working. 
You should ALWAYS have a valid e-mail address on your profile (remember, it will not be publicly viewable on the site). The easier you make it to be reached, the more likely it will happen! 
Be sure to CHECK YOUR E-MAIL EVERY DAY! One day is plenty of time to miss an opportunity completely.
You can of course change your privacy settings at any time.

 COSTS
Our aim is to make it easier for you to access the industry and get castings without having to sign contracts, chase down agents, or fork over large amounts of your hard earned cash! We have completely revolutionized the traditional way that agencies work by removing ALL commissions. Really! the agency takes ZERO in commission from either you or the clients, which results in lower costs all ‘round. Clients are motivated to book our models, actors, and performers because it saves them a bundle, whilst talent still end up with the same amount! It’s a thing of beauty!! Everybody wins!

 PAYMENT
We do not handle payment for jobs, and do not handle money on your behalf. All payments to you are made directly from clients. You can print out a talent payment voucher (from the Talent HQ) for every job to make sure you have a record of your work and money owed to you.
YOU are responsible for obtaining contact information from clients that you work with and staying in touch with them to make sure your payment comes in. Based on industry norms, The Agency’s voucher gives our clients up to 90 days from the shoot to make a payment. If the client passes this payment period without payment, you do have the option to contact the agency, report that client, and inform us of the problem. Though we cannot act on your behalf to track down payment, it is very important to us to enforce honesty and quality; those clients that don’t pay their bills will be removed from the database and blocked from the site, and we will gladly help where we can.  Also, remember that we only work with those clients that can demonstrate legitimacy and background in the industry as well as sufficient contact information. Our clients are the best and most professional in the industry. 

 SOCIALIZING ON THE SITE
Even though THE AGENCY is set up to showcase you professionally and help you find work, we’ve also built in lots of features common to other social networks that will make the whole thing a better experience for you, letting you to communicate, learn from other members, and ‘friend’ other talent in the community. We totally encourage you to friend, write on walls, become fans of other talent, make comments in the forum(s), shout out, give advice where you can, or simply post your most recent highlights to your profile for others to see at a glance. Take a look at SITE FEATURES (below), to learn more.

We encourage all active talent to use the Shout Outs wall on our homepage to let everyone know when you get a casting or booking, or just have a fun thought to share! Its great for everyone to know what's going on, and we really appreciate you sharing : ).
