The character is written as an ethnic child and although it is VO producers would like to cast an ethnic or mixed race child. Mia is a sweet, imaginative kid you can’t help but fall in love with. As we are matching an animated character we are looking for an ethnic girl, probably Indian or mixed. In spite of some difficult life circumstances she is full of joy and an irrepressible exuberance for life. She can be a bit mischievous and this often gets her in trouble, but she always lands on her feet. She is full of curiosity and is very outgoing. MUST be able to sing and have an amazing imagination and love to play.
We are looking for the next lead little girl for an upcoming Illumination project. She needs to be very real believable, not an over the top Disney type actor. She Must be able to sing (although willing is good enough). If you have media, vo or otherwise please attach it to submissions. If not you MUST leave a note with any experience or singing ability. The personality is the most important aspect for this role.
