Evelyn B. is a 45-year-old perimenopausal woman with a 2-month history of breast cancer. Screening mammogram revealed a 23-mm mass in the upper outer quadrant of her left breast, and diagnostic mammogram confirmed the findings (BI-RADS 5). She has no family history of breast or ovarian cancer. Her menstrual cycle is irregular, and she has no comorbidities. She recently underwent modified radical mastectomy for stage IIB (T2pN1aM0) breast cancer. Her disease is estrogen receptor–positive (ER+)/progesterone receptor–negative (PR-)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2–negative (HER2-). Histology is mixed, predominantly invasive ductal carcinoma with some lobular features, and grade 2. Three of 10 axillary lymph nodes were positive. Ki-67 proliferation index is 26%. Her Oncotype Dx recurrence score is 28. She has no pertinent family history. Her last menses was 2.5 months ago. She was initially prescribed acetaminophen-hydrocodone for pain control but has since switched to acetaminophen as needed. Her postoperative recovery has been uneventful. Evelyn B. has no family history of breast or ovarian cancer. She is married and has a 12-year-old son. She works as a caterer. She maintains a healthy diet and a regular exercise routine (stationary bike ~150 min/week). She has never smoked, consumes about 3 glasses of alcohol per week, and does not use illicit or recreational drugs. HCP: ONCOLOGIST 40-55 / Male, Female / All Ethnicities The HCP is an oncologist working in a practice in the United States.
