A creative mastermind in the kitchen. In 1939, she and her husband Frank opened a small restaurant that became known for its Italian dishes, but it won’t be until she concocts a dish for a group of late night patrons that their bar becomes a landmark, attracting tourists from all over the world. That night, she’ll turn a delivery mistake into an American craving and create what we know as the Buffalo wing.
