It is not the ideal situation as his parents are not always aware when he is on a call and ignore it. He really does love his folks he just knows that living there isn’t a long-term solution.He deals with their interruptions with a knowing smile rather than a scowl. Should be good with comedy and subtle reactions, and good with copy. He will be doing the on camera reactions his parents interrupting is zoom calls, as well as the monologue that will go over the video. MOM 50-70 / Male / South Asian/Indian Mom is a balance of aloof of her son's work flow needs (vacuuming while his son is on a zoom call),while still being warm and charming. She's proud of her son and totally stoked that he’s back home, but they aren’t about to stop living the routine they’ve lived for the past 40+ years in this house. *** We are open to women auditioning with their real husband for the dad role! **** DAD 50-70 / Female / South Asian/Indian Dad is a balance of aloof of his son's work flow needs (coming in and asking mom questions while his son is on a zoom call),while still being warm and charming. He's proud of his son and totally stoked that he’s back home, but they aren’t about to stop living the routine they’ve lived for the past 40+ years in this house. ***We are open to men who would like to audition with their real wives for the mom role!*** JULIA 30-40 / Female / African-American/African Julia is a really sweet and charming wife and mom , perhaps even a bit innocent. But in key situations (game night, mortgage choice), her competitive nature ignites within her. We see her playing a board game with her family, and celebrating and jumping up and down when she makes a good move. Should be good with comedy and subtle reactions, and good with copy. She will be doing the on camera action of playing the game and celebrating , as well as the monologue that will go over the video. ***We are open to women who are in a real couple or part of a real family with kids age 6-12**** HUSBAND 30-40 / Male / African-American/African Our husband is a warm, friendly partner to Julia and dad to their kids, and loves their family game nights. He appreciates Julia but laughs together at her competitive quirk. Should be good with improv and with children.
