Yes! Buying is as easy as on any etail site. The one difference is you'll become a ReFashioner member on checkout. It's free, and there's no pressure to do anything more than shop. But if you also want to sell your own spare couture, read on...

It’s easy to hautecycle your couture...

If you didn't join yet, scroll up and click "Apply". Once you have your own customizable Closet (it's free), you're ready to upload your pieces.

Raid your (real) closet, pull those exquisite pieces you never actually wear, lay them out and decide what they’re worth. (Be a bit generous--you’re not wearing them, after all.)

If you have no idea what to charge, just put a zero in the price field and The ReFashion Police will suggest prices. You may alter them as you like later.

Photograph your pieces, front back and label--plus details or styling shots if you like. Then hit “submit an item” and follow the instructions. Don’t forget to tell your garments’ stories.

The ReFashion Police then vets your pieces (if we reject any, please don't take it personally), and edits out the background, then we send them live on the site. You’ll get an email when that happens.

Meanwhile...

Shop! You can search by Designer, category, size, color, pattern, material, era, or any combination thereof. You can also search by emotion tags, or find favorites in our Collections or through the Community. Checkout's easy: log in; load cart; pay.

Meet your fellow ReFashioners! Browse their Closets, Stalk their Closets, read their questionnaires and stories, surf to their blogs, stores, and sites. This is more than shopping. This is fashion.

When a fellow ReFashioner buys your piece...

You receive an email with the prepaid mailing label. Put the item in aUSPS box, stick on the label and mail it. Three days after the tracking info enters the system, you can cash out--or use your proceeds to shop on ReFashioner. Then it’s just like swapping! Which is where this whole ReFashioner thing began...

And...

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our blog, reMAG, for updates, features, interviews, member call-outs, nonboring sustainable fashion news, and all sorts.
