Lara Alcantara is a Venezuelan American Actor who grew up in Caracas Venezuela, with the United Sates very present in her upbringing. Lara attended BARD College and NYU, majoring in Photography and completing a minor in theater and film. Lara took classes at Lee Strasberg, Beverly Hills Playhouse in Los Angeles and Stone Street Studios while at NYU. Lara Made her Television debut as a lead in Mysteries at the Castle, then followed by a small appearance in HBO's Show me a Hero in a scene with Winona Ryder, Monsters inside me as the LEAD of an episode and as presenter in the OZ Show. She works hard to get to the utmost of dreams as an actor and in one year of being a full-time actor has achieved to be part of the union, star in multiple independent film projects ranging from comedy to dramas.
